Description
What is PCBA testing?
Circuit board assembly testing is the evaluation of the electrical and mechanical capabilities of PCB assembly services, that is, the testing of printed circuits that have electronic components mounted on them. It also covers the testing of input and output values.

Functional testing of KING FIELD primarily comprises:
X-ray inspection
Solder joint quality inspection: It is mainly for the solder joints of components such as BGA, which are most difficult to access for visual inspection
Internal connection check: It is to verification that the interlayer connections of the multilayer PCB are correct and no short circuits, open circuits or other problems exist.
ICT
This is a method of using a bed of needles tester or flying probe tester, which automatically connects and tests the points of interest on a printed circuit board (PCB) to check the continuity of the circuit network, the functional testing of the components, and component presence .
FCT
FCT testing means programming the IC and also simulating the operation of the entire PCBA board .
AOI
Image recognition procedures are implemented to check solder joint quality (lack of solder, excess of solder, bridging, etc.), component presence, polarity direction, displacement, tombstone effect, and other appearance defects.
AXI
This is primarily for uncovering soldering defects invisible to the naked eye, especially the solder joints on the underside of BGA, QFN, and other packaging chips, also the through-hole connections inside multilayer boards.
Choose KING FIELD for your PCBA testing needs

At KING FIELD, we offer you a one-stop comprehensive PCB/PCBA solution including PCB manufacturing, component procurement, SMT assembly, and functional testing. We have at our disposal seven automated production lines that can manage different processes such as SMT and through-hole mounting.
1. Knowledgeable PCB assembly manufacturer
KING FIELD's core team has over 20 years of experience in the PCB/PCBA business. We think that helping our customers with the entire PCB/PCBA processing chain is the best way to provide the most value. Our company was founded in 2017.
2. Certified PCB/PCBA manufacturers
KING FIELD is a certified electronic circuit assembly manufacturer, equipped with multiple certificates such as UL, ISO9001, and RoHS. This not only increases clients' confidence in our business but also serves as a reliable proof of our ability to manufacture top-quality products.
3. After-sales service assurance
We provide a very rare "1-year warranty + lifetime technical consultation" in the industry. Our after-sales team works with an average response time of no more than 2 hours. In addition, if any product turns out to have a quality issue other than human error, we guarantee free returns and replacements and also cover the related shipping charges.
FAQ
Q1: Why does insufficient test coverage occur in ICT online testing? KING FIELD: We enhance test point layout by a thorough DFT design review. Then micro-bed of needles technology is applied for high-density boards, and an impedance matching calibration system is set up.
Q2: How do you solve the problem of programs frequently crashing or freezing during functional testing? KING FIELD: Our targeted optimizations are power integrity and signal quality through power ripple monitoring, signal timing analysis, and EMI shielding testing.
Q3: How do you handle batch failures in environmental stress screening?
KING FIELD: We use dyeing testing, finite element analysis, and process parameter optimization together to improve the product's resistance to environmental stress.
Q4: What is the testing principle of PCBA ?
KING FIELD: The PCBA testing principle is to make sure that the printed circuit board is available for testing and functioning correctly.
Q5: What is the difference between PCB testing and PCBA testing?
KING FIELD: PCB testing is about continuity that is done on bare PCB boards while PCBA testing is more extensive as it involves several tests on PCB-assembled products, mainly functional testing aspects.
