Q1: How do you solve the problem of heat dissipation on LED PCBs?
KING FIELD: Our base layer materials are highly thermally conductive: aluminum substrate, or ceramic substrate, and the transition layer being a high thermally conductive insulating media in order to make heat dissipated rapidly
Q2: How do you design the spacing between LED beads?
KING FIELD: Initially, we measure thermal resistance of each LED bead in order to calculate the correct power density. Then, we assess how efficiently the PCB can dissipate the heat and include the ambient temperature in the final decision on the power density.
Q3: What safeguards do you have in place to ensure your LED PCBs won't yellow after prolonged use?
KING FIELD: We choose materials that have not only high heat resistance but also high resistance to yellowing and then we put on a transparent UV-protective layer.
Q4: During soldering, what steps are taken to repair or prevent thermal stress damage to LEDs?
KING FIELD: We select Sn-Bi solder paste , we lengthen the preheating time to 120-150 seconds and use a custom graphite carrier to release the stress within 48 hours after soldering.
Q5: Do you supply flexible LED circuit boards?
KING FIELD: Yes, apart from rigid LED PCBs like FR4 and aluminum-substrate PCBs, we also manufacture and assemble flexible LED circuit boards. In general, we are capable of providing any kind of circuit boards required by the LED industry.
